3M Anti-Tarnish Strips

Some helpful information:

Anti-tarnish strips are absorbent paper that protects metal jewelry, flatware, serving pieces, musical instruments, trophies and other items from unsightly discoloration and tarnish, especially during shipping and storage.  Strips protect silver, nickel, copper, bronze, brass, tin and gold.

Strips will work about 6 months in an enclosed area such as a jewelry box or Ziploc plastic bag with your items. 

Strips are non-toxic and safe.  They do not emit anything, and leave no residue on the metals being protected.

How to use:

Remove strip from bag and place near polished metal in an enclosed area. Use strips in jewelry boxes, storage bags or boxes, china cabinets, silverware chests, musical instrument cases or trophy cases.  One strip protects up to one cubic of air space.  Can be cut as needed. Example:  If you store your jewelry in small zip lock baggies you can cut these large strips into small pieces about the size of half of a US Postal stamp.  Store unused strips in a sealed air-tight bag.
